With the last batch of containers successfully loaded onto the ship at Qingdao Port, Shandong Haihui Steel Industry Co., Ltd. announced that a batch of high-quality 40Cr precision bright seamless steel pipes with a total weight of 55 tons is officially being shipped to Karachi, Pakistan.
This is another important layout of Haihui Steel Industry in the South Asian market after exporting to India and Vietnam earlier this month, marking that the alloy precision pipes manufactured by Haihui are becoming the new favorite of Pakistan’s machinery manufacturing and automotive parts industry.
40Cr precision tube: perfect balance of high strength and high smoothness
The 40Cr (equivalent to AISI 5140) material exported to Pakistan this time is widely used in the production of high-strength piston pins, gear shafts, and heavy-duty fasteners due to its excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and hardenability.
Pakistani customers have put forward almost strict requirements for the surface quality of this batch of steel pipes. Haihui Steel Industry adopts the most advanced vacuum protection heat treatment process (NBK/GBK) to ensure that the steel pipes have no oxide layer on the inner and outer walls after annealing, presenting a bright metallic luster (Bright Finish), and the inner wall roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 μ m. This not only saves customers a lot of subsequent polishing costs, but also significantly improves the corrosion resistance and service life of the finished products.
5-wire tolerance: Conquering the market with data
In terms of tolerance control, Haihui Steel Industry has demonstrated the core strength of “Liaocheng Precision Pipe”. The dimensional accuracy of this batch of 40Cr steel pipes is strictly locked within ± 0.05mm (5 threads). This extremely high concentricity and wall thickness uniformity enable Pakistani buyers to directly use it for high-precision CNC automatic lathe machining, greatly shortening the production cycle.
Strict testing: ensuring “zero corrosion” in cross-border transportation
Considering the shipping cycle to Karachi and the local humid and hot climate, Haihui Steel Industry has achieved the utmost in packaging details. Each 40Cr precision tube is coated with special anti rust film oil and protected by a double-layer vacuum moisture-proof packaging bag and thickened woven bag. Before leaving the warehouse, the quality inspection department conducted 100% eddy current testing (ET) on the products, and provided detailed material certificates (MTC) and physical and chemical test reports along with the goods.
